Is 97 Conti double din?

I currently have a single din Pioneer head unit and want to replace it with a newer double din Pioneer head unit (Nav/Dvd/Bluetooth). Now I could of sworn the conti was double din but when checking crutchfield it said that double din (the head unit in particular that I'm looking at) would not fit the car. Is crutchfield wrong? or am I wrong?

it wont just slip right in, but with a little work or money it CAN be put in
