has anyone else noticed lately that everything we seem to do that involves dealing with companies like phone, utilities, what ever it is, seems to be a hassle. can't be done right the first time so you have to return to or call again blah blah. me personally have delt with a phone company for a month now and no matter how many times i call or tell them, show them what i needed, they still couldn't get it right. took 3 visits just to add 2 phones to my family plan, then on saturday last got the phones working right but the one number keep getting porn sent to it. went back monday and they tried to charge me $15 to change the number. How hard can it be to just do your job RIGHT the first time. more to come need to vent.

I kinda doubt it's just the company. Get "city people" involved in things and they screw it up. Nobody cares unless you live in small town USA where you deal with real people that actually have values.

No, not at all. Its called outsourcing. And those that dont outsource to Pakistan, India and Canada have customer care facilities in some of the most barren places. Regardless, unless the person has been doing his job for quite some time they dont know what the hell they are doing most of the time. They are just told to sit in front of a computer and read what the screen says and do as it tells them to. These places have high turn over rates so not many people have values regardless.

I bet its Verizon.

it is Verizon, and you are so correct about calling, we hardly ever get an American for anything.

Outsourcing just sucks.
I was dealing with sprint trying to get my kids cell activated, I couldnt understand a word she was saying.
After 15 Min I asked for a supervisor and she wouldnt switch me to one.
I gave up and hung up....she called me back !
I tryed again with her for over 10 min. and still no luck.
I asked her were she was...she answered philippines.
After 10 more min she switched me to a tech in the USA who solved the problem in 2 min.
The next day sprint called me to ask how the call went "customer satisfaction survey"
I told them the service blows....I would pay more if they would base there service back in the USA and use people who speak the dam language

have no idea why they don't give those jobs to all the unemployed people. Atleast if they couldn't help you, you could understand them.

know there is more, i am disabled so my girl friend does all my running. my banking, my social security disability stuff everything. so what happens she goes to pick up my taxes from H&R block and they won't let her, now this is last years taxes that they had for three months. i owe alot now get that i owe alot no refund and they wouldn't give them to her i had to get them, which is an ordeal for me to go out i was so pissed i told them if i get sicker i will sue there a**

Six months of Verizon Fios here, and they have not gotten a SINGLE bill correct the entire time. And not just like $3 mistakes either- like an extra $60 a month.... And then the tiresome, unproductive telephone calls, every month, correcting the bill.

If they screw it up again, I'm canceling the contract because they've failed to fulfill their end of the agreement.
