Is it Anti-Semitic to criticize Israel?

I don't think it's anti-semetic to criticize Israel just because they're a Jewish state. Would it be anti-muslim to criticize Iran for it's illegal nuclear program?

I am very interested to see what the results are.

Oh yeah- the ole' Boston Globe double-standard!:waving:

No, I just want to see what the poll results are to my question. Fair enough?

Oh I'm sure some people will think it's anti-semitic. Just like some people said "You don't support our troops" if you were against the war in Iraq. I'm not pleased with all the cilvilians that Israel has killed in this latest conflict, but I certainly don't hate jews because of it.

I voted no, but criticize Israel for what though.

There's plenty of reasons to be critical of Israel, it has an extremely liberal government concerning most social issues. But when you criticize it for defending itself, you have to ask why.

I agree. The question should be more specific. What if Israel actually did start supporting terrorism? Or levied a huge tax on its citizens? It'd be justifiable to criticize then.

But for defending itself? Yeah, that's anti-Semitic.
