i was just wondering what steps id need to take to replace the rear upper shock mount. thanx

not that hard at all. 3 bolts to get the mounts loose , Unbolting the the shock shaft was a bitch, I had to get a vice and use a air gun.

Open trunk, turn off air ride switch then remove trunk wheel liners. These will be held in by plastic push pins. Next Remove covers from air shock actuators, remove the actuators by squeezing the nylon tabs toward the center of the shocks use your hand,(shouldn't be hard to do). Then remove two nuts that hold the mount to the body. Some guys that can't wiggle in the trunk have taken out the back support of the rear seat to get to the mounts. If you crawl in the trunk place a piece of plywood over the sparetire well, (to keep it from collapsing) . then jackup the rear and remove the tire assy. support the hub assy. and remove the lower shock bolt and lower the shock and mount togethter. then you can take the shock to a vise and disasemble the mount from the shock . to put it together reverse the order. *JD*

It's not hard! above is a good step by step....

The fun part is lying in the trunk! Helps if you have someone to do it with you..

Then you can just stay in the trunk as they take out the shock... Unless you are not replacing the shocks....

removing the back seat helps out greatly!

I agree that by removing the back seat all you need to do is back up on some ramps and every thing is easy, no need to lay in the trunk.
