To keep the low beams on when the highs are on? Reason being, I'm putting HID's in the low's and I know it's not good for the HID's to be turned on and off a lot. Any help?

It's possible (the '03 and newer LSes keep the low beams on when the highs come on), but if you have a pre-'03, it's not advisable unless you replace the wiring harness that feeds the headlights. That harness is not designed to carry the current of all four lamps simultaneously, so it could be a fire hazard.

the bigger issue is the warm up process on your hid's. if you drive around w/your brights on for a few minutes (HID's off) when you switch back to low beams the hid's will be VERY dim at first....and very blue. sounds dangerous. figure out a way to get the wiring right. I'd check into the current issue though. IIRC HID's pull much less current than standard halogen's.

you need to wire so that they stay on. probably the igniter fails after too many fast on/off cycles. I'm no expert on these, but I do know HID's were not designed for fast on/off cycles. You need to rewire so they stay on w/high beams.

" Have Done It With My 2000 Ls. Very Simple Get 4 Fog-light Relays- 2 For Each Side- You Tie 1 Relay So The Highbeam Power Trips The Relay And Sends A Seconday Power To The Low Beam, You Need To Repeat This For The Fog Lights Also... All For Under 50.00 If You Are Interested I Have A Schematic."
