Is This Worth Getting

Well........ lets see. If it is a running engine (no way to really check it) and everything else is good then you could sell the IRS to a Mustang guy for $600ish. The trans is worth another $400-$500 to a Mustang person.
So you would have a complete "C" head engine for $1500. You could drop that in a Mark complete (get an 8 bolt flexplate) and have a nice performance gain (yes its only 15hp but the midrange is better). Then you have a plenum worth a couple hundred when you wanna do an Eaton upgrade.... which would bolt right up when the time came.
Its an aluminum block thats fairly strong. It will handle more power then any sain person would throw at it anyway. Still has crap pistons and rods but the crank is forged and can handle 1200hp. :D

So if you have a buyer for the other stuff I would say go for it. OR if you wanted to do a stick conversion that is also a good start.

Oh yeah, he did say it has the ECU as well? Thats another $150 to sell off.

That's a '96-'98 "B" Head Cobra motor.......
 Mang, I was looking at that on my Droid and thought it was a 99/01 Cobra since it came with an IRS. Now that I am using my laptop I see the plenum. My bad.

If its an 03/04 IRS then its worth about a grand but if its a 99/01 setup then $500-$600 is closer.

I should email the guy and see if he has some EVAP cans.
