I promise to nicer if you promise to be smarter.
I've been driving the F450 around with no door switch cups and no radio/trim bezel for the past week. All those wires hanging down was getting old... fast.

But, It's now back together and looking better (IMHO) than before. Or, at the very least, different.

There are some imperfections, but I'm still happy with the end result. We got a batch of craptacular resin that yielded more air bubbles than usual. As such, I had to spend more time popping them and I missed one here and there.

I should have also used some 12K cloth, but there was a bunch of 6K lying around that covered the parts and didn't want to cut into the 12K roll just for my project.

Pictures would have come out a lot sharper had I not been using a camera phone. But, it's all I had with me at the time.

Looks nice in the pictures.
BTW Did you make any progress with the Gen I Mark VIII wood trims?

No. I'm having a big issue with the wood delaminating from the metal, on those pieces.

The problem is their age and the fact that the pieces I found around here have been cooked by the Az sun for up to 17 years now. They are bound to de-laminate. As such, I'm not even going to sell something like that only to have the wood start de-laminating in 3 months. I just couldn't do it.

Now, if people want to send me their parts (or non-delaminating parts) and understand these are old parts and may come apart eventually, then I won't have a problem doing them.

Hey Frog, haven't heard back from you recently. Did you still want the trimpieces that i've got?

BTW, those look awesome! I'd love to be able to that!

Looks great, frog. Wondering how this would look on some of the LS pieces...

So with all that weight savings have you noticed any performance improvements? :D
