Man I can't wait, Im getting a 3500 stall for my Lincoln in about 2 weeks, If you have a high stall and would like to tell me how awsome of a mod it is feel free. Im going to hope for 13s because I run 14.3-14.4s on hot days and it is almost fall so im excited. Yes Im THAT kinda excited too. its been so long since I drove my lincoln and now im going drive it again with a 3500 stall.

heres me wetting my self as I wait for the high stall

That's awesome to hear, Brad. Can't wait to see that baby fly. Hit me up on the cell when you get the car back and one of these weekends I'll come to the track with ya. :Beer

Looks as if I should just try and make my car LOOK better, because trying to catch up with the mods you have is going to take a while. :D

dude gears and stall and your there, JOn I only have gears and exhaust right now geeesh.

also Im going sensor rise the back to fit some 275s so I can get some hook after i get the mustang hubs and WELD racing rims, Im going have skinnings on the front :N

i'd love to get a good converter , good luck , it should be pretty fun ride
what kind of tires are you using (destroying...lol)

well i get tires cheap, because my buddy works for discount tires, SO i will go through this 225/60/16 tires like i go through gas :Beer

what mods do you have that you would need Drag radials for

Even a stock Mark VIII would benefit from Nitto drag radials...

I would have to disagree, If you run at the track they spray VHT (route 66 is one of the best) and I dont even spin, I hook like hell, and feels like im breaking stuff in to second. the street maybe but I never ever had a problem even with the 4 10s

It's not just about traction although that certaintly is the main reason why people get them. A 245/50/16 tire will effectively lower your gearing slightly compared to the stock 225/60/16 tire.

the diff aint much if any, trust me. Im not crazy. I have a pair of Drag radials my self at the track I ran 3 with and 3 with out and they were the same. If im going to try and get a tenth better I normally were light cloths, take a huge crap and a long piss. thats good for about .05, depending on the crap

Haha you are a fool for that one. When are you headed back to the track anyway?

when I get the high stall converter, then I will need some sticky tires for sure

you know how in a stick you can pop the clutch at any rpm, will this is sorta like that, right when i floor it from the line Im instantly at 3500 rpm

ok i knows I will have traction problems, but how long will the tires keep smoking, what the average feet for the fat patchs Im about to leave every where in this town

It's not just the launches, you will notice better midrange response as well. The converter seems to allow more power to the wheels through the drivetrain. I'd bet if you dynoed before and after you get the converter, there would probably be more torque at the wheels... Just from what I've gathered when I got it. There also was even more pull in 2nd gear.

i shaved 2 tens off my time with my 2800 stall but my 60's are the same 2.3, thats the only thing that i have had done. shift kit go's in tomarrow.

(running a 15.2 @92.92mph)
