stopped to look at a 98 Mark VIII for sale...this other guy stops too....were lookin at both noticing the front end kissing the pavement....he says to me

"You know how to fix that?" before I can reply he continues..
"take that air shock out and spray fix a flat in the line"..

honest! fell out....

none the less, also looked like back tire drvs side blew out and did a little damage to the wheel well and...oh yeah..about 100 little hail dents (forgot to mention that when I called about it!), and a couple of good gashes in the paint in various places - and the worst...the very worst..his directionals were going into each other, I didn't tell him that...I should call him back...but I think he already has my # blocked...dang..silly unworthies.....

i always say.." there's nothing you can't fix with duct tape and a little spackle".. i guess i have to add Fix-a-flat to that saying..

im actually curious how long that would last if it even remotely worked to begin with...
 
it doesnt actually work and it jacks up the whole system if left too long. i worked on a towncar that the guys, friends, cousin, told him too do this he said it worked for a couple hours.we replaced every thing. good theory tho

I like the way you think ps!!!

I really want a 1st gen either 95 LSC with HIDs or 96 LSC. I was hoping to talk the guy down to 3,000.00 on his 2nd gen (the hail marks all over it are pretty bad, and bags need replaced)...but now I only want to punch him in the gut and take his keys....still haven't told him his wheels are on wrong...moron.

How much you asking for yours jamie?

too much for me, not too much for the Mark, good deal actually..and from the sound of it, payments are not an option - lol..I can wing around 3g's and that is it for me...dang it, sure would like to have it.

well i havent had a single interest in the car anyway so it looks like it will remain mine. plus my price just went up to $6,500 every single piece of front suspension just got replaced again with the right stuff this time, and i did a ceramic brake job to it as well! i dont mind if no one wants it, juts more car for me to enjoy!
 
Oh I want it!!!!! I want it bad!!!!! I will feed and love and clean and rub and maintain and even build an addition to the garage to keep it in bad weather...but you got this money thing....lol just kidding...

I thought you said that there were no LSC made in 95. Are you giving in?
 
95 is when the lsc package was introduced. early 95's in fact that were lsc's had halogen housings still, but late model 95 lsc's are the first ones to get that beautiful HID upgrade, those are rare specially 95's. there is a 95 black on black lsc for sale right up the road from me, but its an early 95 and has halogen's, but it is a true lsc.
 
Gave in a long time ago Roach...where you been, a Hottie forwarded me a ebay url....gesh...now I gotta get one - with the HID's....:p

Mine's a 96 LSC, but does not have the LSC on trunk, it has Mark VIII... on one side & Lincoln on the other...my white one had LSC on the trunk.

debi are you sure its an lsc? if it is it should have the lsc emblem, unless it fell off at some time and someone put the wrong emblem back on? because all the true lsc's had the lsc emblem on the right side of the trunk.
 
YUP VIN number proves LSC...err doesn't prove it:

VIN-
....Digit 5 to 7 indicate the vehicle line series and body type. M91 is the Mark VIII, while M92 is the Mark VIII LSC. All 1995 LSC's and early 1996 LSC's are designated M91. The only way to tell if you have an LSC is to see if it has the Euro-perforated seats, true dual exhausts, chrome directional wheels and says LSC on back. The 1996 LSC's also have HID headlamps standard, as may have a few 1995's.
My VIN is M91, & I have all but one, the LSC on the trunk...and I am beginning to think your latter suggestion is on target..hummmm, I'll have to get back there and take a better look....
