Ok - I've been teasing you guys a little.

Here is my new ride.

DONT PANIC -- I am not getting rid of my Mark VIII

A 2005 Cadillac Deville DHS - Tan and Brown inside and out. Its really a classy looking ride. Oh, and its getting 14.5 MPG around town. I havent done a road trip yet.

The first thing I need to change is the sound system.

CLEAN machine man!! Love it except for the "Gag" top. Color is killer.

You're going to be hard pressed to find anyone that really like those tops, I owned a car once that had one, so I can live with it. Some cars they just look really stupid on, take the Mark VIII's and the LS's for example.

It is a nice looking car though, how many miles are on the clock?

Maybe this year the cops won't pull you over at the beach party!

I did a full mb quartz install for my friends 03. Pretty simple, I was very impressed at the build quality and materials they use for these cars, way above any lincoln I've ever seen. Every thing double sealed, and foam filled. Oh, you battery is under your back seat

not so sure about the build quality. maybe the interior is a little more "plush",but the Caddys have some issues too ,major oil leak from oil pump!,using oil, 1qt per 1k on avrage, struts + front stabilizers shot at 70k,electrical gremlins,head gasket issues,have I left anything out lol

and you Know it when you put your foot to the floor and car try's to go left or right ..but it is great in the snow

58k miles. I agree, soft tops do not look right on ever car model or every color combo. In this case I thought it made the car.

Thats a great question. I dont know anything about the current sound system except that I dont like it. I know I will be getting a new head unit and subs. I dont know if I'll completely change out all the other speakers or not. I have to find out more about the sound system in this car. I know there are adaptors available that will allow me to use the onstar and what not on some head units. - I want a full nav system with bluetooth for my phone, etc. You know, all the toys.
