I just wonder how bad it will have to get before we get THE SLEEPING GIANT that was referred to right after PEARL HARBOR "TO WAKE UP". I grew up with a COAL FURNACE in Western Penna,,a garden,,kerosene lamps (til we got the electric thru in about 1951-2) I'm 69 and haven't forgotten. I just wish when I tore down the old home where I grew up and put a modular home in it's place,,,I would've installed a FIRE PLACE with a chimey starting in the basement,,in case we need a wood/coal furnace again.
