would say a maruader driveshaft work on a mark......any one have a clue if it does....just sayn cause saw one for sell @ $180

you can get any driveshaft machine inexpensively to any length you want - i am curious if this would be a solution to the mark's vibration problem - i can get ahold of crown vic driveshafts fairly easily.....

Nope......The reason you get the vibration in the mark is due to the extreme length of the shaft, combined with a flimsy DS. The reason we go with the MMX DS is because not only is it stronger, but it's also ALOT stiffer. This resists the "Whipping" motion that causes the vibration issues in our cars.

Besides the only "real" way to lengthen a driveshaft is to cut the old shaft out, and use a new tube in the old yokes.

i had thought that the vibration was a result of the two piece design - which i would elminate with a solid drive shaft from a larger car. this wouldn't be possible?

Alot is caused by the 2-piece design, but I have run in to problems with the 93 single piece also. Ford just went the penny pinching route with these driveshafts. THIN walls.
