just did a couple of upgrades to the 2000lsv8 and thought i would share... first was brakes... not sure about the rest of you but my "pedal feel" left a little to be desired, so i upgraded to power slot rotors and ebc "red" ceramic pads at all four corners... now my pedal feel is awesome, good initial bite with a very linear bite.... on the freeway they are awesome... stops better than than our prelude (which has always impressed me for a stock vehicle) plus the rotors look much better than stock... highly reccomended upgrade!
second, i dropped in a set of denso iridium spark plugs (after doing the valve cover gaskets, lotsa fun) figuring the motorcraft double plats. would be worn out, but they were fresh, the previous owner must have serviced it just prior to me buying it, anyhow, i put the denso's in and to my suprise i was rewarded with another 1.4 mpg !!!.. get you some!
thats it for now but if anyone reading this post has done exhaust upgrades like the magnaflow kit, i would appreciate some info on the sound quality and mileage impact.... thanx

Cool man, sounds like good changes. I need to probably change my pads or something too, hitting the brake somewhat hard or w/ a decent amount of pressure feels just like hitting a clutch or something, it goes way down, so far down infact that if I'm not careful IF I have to hit them hard I could also hit the gas pedal(yea, its kinda freaky).

Keep us updated on the denso plugs, I'd like to know how they do overtime. As for the exhaust question, I have not done anything yet but I'm sure the magnaflow not only gives you more power but also probably makes the sound of the LS so mean(good thing imo). I don't see it really doing too much to gas mileage, probably go down just because you want to hear it scream and that requires more gas :). I'm looking around for a place to do a flowmaster super 40 setup on mine, I know it well be much louder but I do not mind that, as long as I cruise w/out much attention drawn when I do not want it.
