The plastic part that pulls the cable on your interior door handle is broken. Remove the handle and leave the cable exposed and you can just pull the cable to open the door untill you get a new handle. The handle is riveted on so you need to drill the rivets out to remove the handle. You can use bolts to put the new one in.

Easy solution. Open window, open door from outside handle. Show feature of being able to close all windows from the outside.

Done!
