Ironically, I found this site because I just recieved a letter from Ford today outlining the extended warranty coverage program 07M07. I did a Google, and this site popped up. Looks like a good forum for LS owners, so I'm glad I found it.
I have an 03 LS V8 Premium Sport, black/black, nav, moonroof, etc. etc. We've had it a year, and love it. The only problem we've had to-date are the coils! I've had it in to the dealer 3 times in the last few months to get the coils replaced. First 1, then 3, then the last 4. I was trying to get all 8 done before my warranty expired. Then, I get the extended program notice in the mail today! Oh well, at least they're done, and for free. I'm now wondering if I should push the dealer to go ahead and replace the V/C gaskets, too. Looks like this probably the root cause of the failure (or at least one of them). Any feedback is appreciated.
I also own a 04 Jaguar S-Type 3.0, which I like very much. This one is actually mine, as my wife drives the LS daily. I also have a low-mileage, all original 89 Thunderbird Super Coupe as a "keeper", and am active over on SCCoA; the forum for these cars. My last one is a 67 Dodge Coronet R/T that I've had for 25 years. It's a low-mileage, original paint survivor that sits in storage most of the time these days.
Anyway, glad to be here. I hope to learn a lot about our LS and meet some new friends.
