I am thinking of maybe selling my Mark 8. I am thinking that it would I could sell it between $2500 and $3000(maybe out of reach but who knows :shifty:).

Pictures are in my signature but they are about four years old.

The bad:
~136,700 miles on the car
No heat (blend door)
No A/C (don't know the reason)
Front bumper pealing
Rims are showing wear
Telescoping steering wheel doesn’t telescope (but tilts)
Center console doesn’t spring open
Hail damage (on the rear ballast trim)
Dents on both front quarter panels
Headlights hazy
Driver side mirror doesn’t auto dim anymore
Driver seat has a few rips
Driver door handle broken

The good:
LSC
New(ish) Transmission (~27,000 miles on it)
Nothing wrong with engine (that I know of anyway)
Tires have about ~35,000 miles on them (Goodyear Assurance)
Passenger seat and rear seats are in good condition (especially rear because no one sits back there)
Replaced the air suspension with springs
The carpet and floor mats have minimal wear
Oil changes every 3,000 miles since I've owned the car.
New COP
New Valve cover gaskets (passenger side)
Both power seats still work
The paint on the rest of the body is in good condition
Still in the box LMS Exhaust (2 Mufflers and 2 x-pipes) (never had time to install it)

I would like to know what you guys have to say about it and if it is worth what I am looking to get out of it.

If I think of anything else I'll edit my post with bold lettering.

If you want recent pictures just ask and I’ll post them later. I’m “working” now.

hmmm dont tempt me lol. personally i think you a little high for the mileage, but not excessivly out of line. more pics would help.

for what you wrote as the bad list you made the car sound like its worth 1000 bucks.

Yea I know but that is what's wrong with it. This is why I was hesitant to ask on here.

Well IMHO I think you may have to come down from that price if someone sees it in person and gives you a best offer.

It's not a set price, I was just wondering what you all would offer.

I'm not looking to sell until I'm looking to buy another car. I'm just thinking ahead.

^^This. Pics are mandatory for any decent estimate. But based on what you said, I'd be thinking in the low 2xxx range as long as the dents and paint aren't too bad.

Also, IMO, you would definitely want to fix that door handle before trying to sell it. That's a big, glaring turn-off to any potential buyer.

Just the 2 Mufflers and 2 x-pipes.

How much for these?

Just to help you see the worth. I bought my 95(non LSC) with 116k, flawless body and paint with no electrical issues, cold a/c. Just has a small leak at the oil pan and I had to replace the inner tie rods. Air system working perfectly. Brand new tires. Interior in very good condition, just driver seat worn out a bit. Runs excellent. Asking $3200, got it for $2600.

Is the lms exhaust just the mufflers or is it the whole kit piping and all?

Technically you just asked about whether it was a kit and didn't ask about a price;) I was just curious what they are worth for future knowledge. They are all yours:D

From what you described i my self would not pay more then 1k-1.5k for it. granted you have some good stuff but it doesnt out weight the bads . for an lsc in mint condition ive seen dealers offer em at 3500-4999. in my area at least. you could always craigslist it just aim high so you can drop the price and make the suck..customer feel like he got one over on you.
