Should I get the oil in spray bottle, or regular bottle? It seems like spraying it on would be easier but why is the regular bottle much more common everywhere I go?

Any tips? I don't wanna over-do it.

when i did mine the kit came with the cleaner that you will have to poor in something that the aircleaner will fit in beleive you leave it in there for like 10min (dont quote me on that) rinse it off let it completly dry and the oil is in a spray bottle .... dont no if i answered your question ... have a good day:)

I think the spray bottle is fairly new, so it hasn't been widely distributed yet. But I think the spray works much better. Just an opinion.

A spray bottle will be better for evenly distributing the oil over the surface of the filter.

I use the squeese bottle, works good to get in all the valleys of the filter.

are all the recharge kits the same i have to clean my father-in-law's, and the air filter and intake tube were on it when he bought it, its a volant sys, but i dunno about the filter and no id on the filter it might be blue, red, etc cant tell cuz its black now. i have access to a k&n and a airraid recharge kit so would it matter which one i use??
