I would like the forums input. Which one of these has the best Nav system. The prices are so far apart, I can't imagine one would be that much better. Let me know what you think.

I see a lot of Pioneer in higher end cars, Kenwood in what seem to be lower budget projects, and don't see many Eclipse at all.

What kind of prices are you finding for them?

I love the Kenwood double din touch screen.....that thing is sick....If I had extra cash I would go with it....I think it is all a personal preferance.....I like Kenwood.....I do not like Pioneer never have never will .....The Eclipse one is also sick has a ton of features when you listen to the radio or cd.....Get what you like and looks good to you,

Ford switched to Pioneer for the nav system in at least some of its new vehicles. The one personal review I've heard so far was that it wasn't as good as the one used in the LS.

I've heard good things about Eclipse, but I have no personal experience with any of them. My nav system involves folding up and the glovebox... ;)

the 03-06 ls nav unit is pioneer. well, head unit is pioneer and nav computer (trunk unit) is denso.

I bought a sweet Pioneer double din unit and it should be installed within the next few weeks so I hope to show it off to you all soon.

I know there are several members with these units, just wanted someone to breakdown the differences.

I currently own an Eclipse and as far as features, you can't go wrong. Plus the 5v out is better than the other two's 4v out. Means you will get a cleaner signal. You can choose between their double din and a din with the motorized screen. I like pioneer, but if you are going the Nav way, get their premier brand. Much better components make up that line over the pioneer. Kenwood is ok, but the other two are the better brands.

Will these fit in the existing stereo position or do they stick on the dash via velcro. Who make Eclipse as I am completely unfamiliar with this brand name.

Man after reading the review and product info the Eclipse is the way to go. Kenwood needds a separate DVD for the nav while the Eclipse is all in one.

I could get a brand new unit with a 3 year warranty installed for about $2300 and he guarantees it will maintain the factory look.

If your into high end components then you won't go with anything other then eclipse for you source unit.. The cd with dvd load is a cool little extra,
screen is clear no ghosting fast processoring the eclipses have dedicated graphics cards i think there head units also. But don't quote that i think i had heard that. But all i have ever owned are eclipses and they last forever.

Thanks. Company is owned by Fujitsu. They make some really nice plasmas.

The Pioneer D1 seems to have the best reviews for the NAV. They aren't as good for add-ons. But the D1 has one HUGE feature I haven't seen in the others...XM NavTraffic. Now that is one very nice feature!

Also, the D1 is priced right. You can get them brand new for under a grand.
