Poll: Kerry holds on to post-debate bump

But national race still without clear leader

Monday, October 11, 2004 Posted: 8:28 PM EDT (0028 GMT)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry appears to be holding the ground he gained against President Bush after the first presidential debate, according to a recent poll.

But the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll suggests the second face-off did little to affect the race for the White House.

The poll, conducted Saturday and Sunday, shows 49 percent of likely voters indicating a preference for Kerry versus 48 percent for Bush. Independent candidate Ralph Nader garnered 1 percent.

With a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points, the survey indicates the two major-party candidates are running too close to call. The numbers are based on answers from 793 likely voters.

I cancelled my subscription to USA Today yesterday. Just another penile implant of the Democratic Party. All because Kerry can't "get it up" on his own.

And its only going to get worse for GW. The GOP continues to try to censor any bad news (GW's civil rights record report) that might hurt GW's position prior to the election. Makes one feel like we are living under communist rule.

To borrow something I've heard said recently, "You can run, but you can't hide!" The TRUTH about GW is slowly being realized by the voting public as election day comes closer. Hey GW! The light at the end of the tunnel is really a proctorscope!

Yeah, well GW's whole tactic is to scare us into electing him again - thts why he knows no tune besides war and terror.

And - while he's running around making new wars - the country is falling apart. Except for him and his rich buddies of course.

All time high oil prices today.
