No wonder he talks about Vietnam.

BTW, Kerry's Canadian prescription drug plan went down in flames yesterday. I wonder if the MSM is going to report that. Over half his "plans" have already been cancelled or have proven to be implausible. Great record Sen. Kerry.

John Kerry's Sad List of Achievements

In his 20 years in the Senate, John Kerry authored a grand total of five bills that passed both the Senate and House and became law: Just How Many Bills Has Kerry ‘Passed?’ (Hat tip: Paul.)

* S.791: Authorizes $53 million over four years to provide grants to woman-owned small businesses. (1999)

* S.1206: Names a federal building in Waltham, Massachusetts after Frederick C. Murphy, who was killed in action during World War II and awarded (posthumously) the Medal of Honor. (1994)

* S.1636: A save-the-dolphins measure aiming"to improve the program to reduce the incidental taking of marine mammals during the course of commercial fishing operations." (1994)

* S.1563: Funding the National Sea Grant College Program, which supports university-based research, public education, and other projects "to promote better understanding, conservation and use of America’s coastal resources." (1991)

* S.423: Granting a visa and admission to the U.S. as a permanent resident to Kil Joon Yu Callahan. (1987)

He was also author of two bills that became law in modified form:

* H.R.1900 (S.300): Awarded a congressional gold medal to Jackie Robinson (posthumously), and called for a national day of recognition. (2003)

* H.R.1860 (S.856): Increased the maximum research grants for small businesses from $500,000 to $750,000 under the Small Business Technology Transfer Program. (2001)

... and co-authored four "joint resolutions" that are not technically "bills:"

* S.J.Res.158: To make the week of Oct. 22 — Oct. 28, 1989 "World Population Awareness Week." (1989)

* S.J.Res.160: To renew "World Population Awareness Week" for 1991. (1991)

* S.J.Res.318: To make Nov. 13, 1992 "Vietnam Veterans Memorial 10th Anniversary Day." (1992)

* S.J.Res.337: To make Sept. 18, 1992 "National POW/MIA Recognition Day." (1992)

Someone should make a documentary about Kerry's Senate "service" and call it "The Indistinguished Gentleman".

um, if thats the best you can do - I mean, I dont find anything wrong with those bills and resolutions. Are you complaining he didnt author more?

OK Joey! Seeing as how you cannot see the obvious, let's take a closer look at this accomplished man, shall we?

Was a crappy bass player in a crappy high school band.

Went to a fancy, "all expenses paid" college funded by daddy.

Requested and received 4 deferments and only "volunteered" for the Navy after the 5th deferment to Paris was denied and he was about to be drafted.

Took the easiest commissioned job in the Navy he could.

Volunteered for Swift Boats for the fun of it and then protested to get out when their missions included enemy contact.

Fabricated a military record including 2 self-inflicted wounds. Fled the scene when another boat was attacked by a mine. Later wrote the report that was the most amazing feat of poor enemy marksmanship ever reported in a theater of war.

Wrote up all the 'after-action' reports to make himself look like a hero.

Shot a kid in the back.

Came back from Vietnam and shot everybody he served with in the back.

Married a rich chick and took her to Paris.

While in Pear-ree, shot his country in the back meeting secretly with the communists.

Played around in the Attorney Generals office for a few years.

Eventually won elected office.

Divorced his 1st wife, then preyed upon a richer one whose husband had just died.

Beat a Republican for re-election in a very close race even though the state in which he was running tilts Democratic by over 20%.

Running for President now and lying daily to the American people. Making up stories as he goes along.

And now we come to his accomplishments as a Senator.

Held the title as most liberal in government for a 5 year stretch...

Bravo. I commend him for that. $13 million a year is a start. Can't complain.

Wow, names a building after a War hero. Surprised he didn't volunteer his own name. Republicans in Congress were bettering people's lives, Kerry was naming buildings.

I guess that is where he got the nickname 'FLIPPER'. LMAO.

Save the Beach program must have been to get all the fat chicks off the beaches so he could parasail without distraction.

So he passes a bill to get a convicted 'pot' user a visa to come to the US with her new husband. The 'WOW' factor strike again.

Definitely brings a tear to my eye.

Bravo Zulu Number 2. Can't complain and I won't.

Panders to the very people he raped. Our US armed forces.

He and John McCain secretly left an untold number of US POW's over in Vietnam and won't disclose the files the findings were base on.

So there you have it. The man is nothing. Nothing. And deserves the beat down President Bush and the Vietnam Vets will give him on November 2nd, Lord willing.

Where are all the Kerry supporters defending his Senate record? Suddenly silent. I guess we know why.

The same John Mcain who's a campaign advisor/member for Shrub? Using your logic, bryan, Shrub must condone leaving those POWs behind and not disclosing those files.
So Shrub is screwing the Vietnam Vets and POWs.

What a Low Life!!!!

I am no John McCain fan. He is just another guy that will say and do anything to get elected. Which is why he decided to hang his c on the RNC rack so he can run in 2008.

Don't worry about Shrub digging into this. It is done and buried.

Worry about sKerry signing his Military 180 records release form so all Americans can see that he was not honorably discharged as he claimed he was.

Dozens of people have been working to turn over this rock. He could be the 1st President in our history to be elected without releasing all his records. Courtesy of the MainStream Media.

I am almost prepared for Kerry to win. I take the long view on things. 4 years of sKerry sCrewing up will put the Dems back 3 elections at least. I'll trade 4 years of Kerry with a Republican majority in both houses for another 12 years of Republican rule. Unfortunately, Kerry will live off the good fortune of the economy for 3-1/2 years and then hand it back over to us broken just like Clinton did in 2000. Oh, well. Be it as it may.

The thing I fear most is watching sKerry age from 60 to 90 right before our very eyes. That will really be sKerry.
