Well I'd like to thank the Kustomizinkid and his side kick Hankyman came to help pull wires and install a sub woofer and amp.
Well on Thursday we had 5 inches of rain over night. Didn't drive the Mark until KK and Hankyman came over to do some car playing.
Well when KK pulled the front seat out he noticed that in the rear the car was all wet, Bad wet. So we pulled the carpet to dry it out.
There was a big pool of water all on the driver's side. I hadn't notice because the floor mats covered the water and the mats were dry.
Anyway ... the search for the leak went on. Found out that it was the sunroof. Drain tub on the driver's side had dislodged and poured the water all into the car.
Well after about 2 hours or more of getting this problem taken care of ...
It was time to pull wires and do an install. Having the carpet out sure made things easy to weave all the cables.
In the end all worked out accept that the Amp that I had received from Ray who got the amp from Frogman didn't work... Oh well wires and Sub is in place.
If anyone is interested in why they risked their lives .... well in one year the two people who had started to help me gather equipment and were going to help me with my install both pass away. 96hotrodlincoln was the first member to offer support giving me the design and demesions for the sub box. Chickenviii passed on the chance to help me out. Now KK offered up Hankyman's life to LvC.
Thanks KK and Hankyman ... now after I get a new amp I'm sure all will be working fine ...
Oh and no more floods in my car...
