Well on sunday I ordered the KKM induction kit from LSkoncepts and it came today and when I got the energy I went ahead and installed it. Than drove to the g/f's house and it did make a pretty good difference over stock(of course). It makes alittle more noise, which is pretty neato. Hard to describe the noise but it has a sucking sound and an almost swish when you give it gas, not too noticable but to me it is. Acceleration is better too, little bit more responsive and smoother. I bet it gets better once I decide to get the tube.

Anyway, here are some quick shots of it(if you really want better or more, just ask). Oh, and it took about 10-15 minutes for ME after I figured it all out so its real easy.

Was worth the money and Thanks KEN, love the speedyness inwhich it got here. Just waiting on them emblems and for some more money so I can get some other things :).

Oh and I got thinking, would it be a good idea to look for some sort of mesh to put in the holes that lead to the air box? Got thinking that having alittle something over them would be a good idea to keep some crap out but not effect air-flow up to the filter. Anyone done this?

Looks good! I wouldn't worry too much about the holes where the existing air box use to sit. However, I would suggest that you take some 3" flex and run it from that opening to the lower air dam. This way you have cooler air coming to the new KKM intake.

I want to know what else to do for the LS to get some more power out of it...

I just ordered my KKM from Ken at LS Koncepts! I can't wait till it gets here! I'm going to build a cold air inlet near the air dam and feed it with a flex hose. My friend is a sheetmetal person so he is going to make a SS sheetmetal small scoop that will fit behind the air dam and "catch" the air and direct it to the KKM....I'll post pics here.

I just installed mine the other day. I absolutely love the growl that comes from under the hood. Feels like the powerband shifted down the RPM range a little too.

Whelp today I got to really check it out and I'm very pleased w/ the results of just the filter, better take offs, get up and go while already moving is improved. The LS really needed this "mod."

Also, my v8 emblems came and I basically just got done putting them on. Nice little appearance change I must say. Had a tough time decided exactly where to place them on the front fenders(low, highish) but after about 30 minutes I said screw it and placed them and was done w/ that.

Send me some pics of your car for my customer car gallery! Also, post a few on here!

www.LSKoncepts.com is where all of it came from :).

And Ken, I'll be getting some recent pics probably saturday after I wash it and I'll send them to you. Want to do it tomorrow but I'm working my typical 12 hour friday, in before sunlight, out after.

Thanks BEAMER......I did not see those emblems on the LS Koncepts site. I just went and order (2) Lincoln emblens and (2) V8 emblems. I'm going to put the v8 emblems on the rocker panel and the lincoln emblems low towards the front on the front doors. The are small enough to be subtle and not too loud.
