Kumho Ecsta MX's worth it?

I have the chance to purchase new Ecsta MX's for $400? What do you all think. Will these 245/40's perform well and look good on 18" wheels? THanks for all your input fellas.

That seems like a good deal on those tires. The 245/40-18 tires will look good on the LS. They are actually the replacement tires to the 235/50-17 size. Your speedometer may be off slightly with the 245/40's but not by much.

Where are you getting the tires at? Care to share?

I'm getting them from a private owner. I also know where you can get Kumho Ecsta ASX for $400 if anyone is interested. Thanks for your input.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the speed read from the ABS sensors. If this is the case then the speed should not be affected by tire size. Since it reads at the wheel and not the drive shaft.

My 98 reads from the ABS and I diffenately have a different size tires/rims. My GPS still has me at the standard 1-2 mph error before and after.

I just resently purchased 235 50 R17 Kumho ASX... for about $550 sounds like you have a good deal.
