L.S.D. swap

A few threads back I submitted a post about a 8" l.s.d. unit I found. I was wondering if anyone knows if this swap could work, or if it needs major modifications.

Some quick specs are:
28 spline, all ratios, 62-79 ford rear ends.

The rear end in our cars is a Jaguar piece and it is not the same or compatible with what you linked to.

could this work. I didn't think the LSE had a limited slip rear diff. Maybe the Auborne might fit into the 8". Whoo Hooo if it does

as far as I know - there is no difference in LS models other than gearing between some years. all LSes have an open diff.

may be - I am no expert on diffs. Will the case fit inside the housing?

supposidly, the jaguar s-type (perhaps the v8 or the R) has a 8" Limited Slip Diff in the rear. Thats going to cost a pretty penny to buy.
