Sometimes I wish with my brother would have ended up buying the SVPU's LSCR2 off of DoctorV8 :) Now that I'm restoring the LSCR-1, with worn tires/rims I'd like to go down a different route.

Car :

I'm currently running -

275/40WR-17 (Rear)
245/45WR-17 (Front)

I have a funny feeling with my rubbing in the front, that this might be as large as I can go. The car has been lowered.

Per Paul (for my car):

"There is plenty of tire clearance in the rear,We are currently running 17 X 9 Ford wheels all around but there is enough room for a 17 X 10.5 Cobra R style wheel with a 315 series tire(AFS recently anounced this size rim)."

I really like the look of the wheels on the LSCR-2. They look to be 17x9.5 2003 Cobra Wheel (front). The rear wheels looks like there is some room for a larger wheel.

The site also says that it took 60+ hours to modify the suspension to have those wheels installed. I wonder if that was because of the coil over conversion? Backspacing/offset? Or Bremebo's?

I mean, we're talking about 17's. These are 22's :

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

They probably did a complete front-end swap for the Cobra wheels. After-market ones tend to bolt right up. If not, spacers or grinding the hub resolve the issue. I ran 245/45R17 without issue on the fronts of my Marks without issue.

I might have rubbing issues since my rideheight screw was lowered past the lowest factory setting. I'm thankful for the sub frame connectors because they're great for sliding across speed bumps :)

I guess 275 40 17 with a 17X9.5 for the fronts is out of the question?

Aftermarket (non OEMS) in that style will bolt right up? ---> 17x 9.5 / 275 40 17?
