I thought I'd introduce myself... I just bought a '98 LSC last week. It's in decent shape, and definitely worth saving. It has 123k miles on it. So far I changed the fuel door button, fixed the PS HID bulb, and now I'm doing the wiper motor. I have a soft spot for American touring coupe muscle. There are some beautiful cars on this forum. I also have an '06 GTO...

Welcome, looks good, congrats on the purchase

Hello Jeff, Welcome to LVC!

Nice score. Nice neighborhood. Looks like Iron Mountain Ranch community.

Is that an Ivory Pearlescent ? (EXT PNT code HA)
with a Light Graphite interior ? (INT TR code C2)
I cannot imagine not having tint on that car. One of the 1st upgrades I would do.
Show us some more pics including your '06.

I guess its my turn ---- " I'd fix that front wheel. did you know it's on backwards? "

Yeah I just noticed the wheel was backwards, and I've been getting quotes for the tint around town. In Vegas tint is mandatory. The interior is prairie tan, which seems to be unpopular in these parts. I'm pretty sure it's Ivory Pearlescent, but I'll double check the code. Thanks for the compliments!

I'm also on the hunt for a signal/wiper switch for the steering column. The chrome button fell off of it...

Here's some pics of my '06:

If you can find just the chrome button and spring you can just pop it in w/o removing the steering wheel to replace the whole unit. Or buy the mfs and pop out the button and put it in yours. If you end up having to buy a whole new unit i'd just replace the whole thing.

I popped mine out with a very thin knife and pushed it in on the new one.

The retaining tabs broke on my chrome button and I still have the spring, so I've been scouring the land for the button. I need to check the junk yards and I guess I'll post a wtb thread for the mfs.

Yeah the GTO is ugly and slow, but she's my ugly and slow GTO. :D I guess I'm a car fanatic lol. The more I work on the Mark, the more I see the similarities between the two.

So the exterior is code HA Ivory Pearlescent, and the interior is DQ Ivory. I want to keep the ivory interior and freshen it up, but I don't know if I want to go custom with the exterior. I'll keep it tasteful of course. I'm open for input.
