LCOC, The Lincoln and Continental Owners Club, has recently announced a new “Primary Membership,”
that is $21 for the first year, for people under the age of 25 years old. This includes six issues of “Continental Comments,” which will be named “Lincoln and Continental Comments” with the next issue “to better reflect the scope of the cars the club recognizes.”
To apply for membership:

“The July-August issue will feature 1939 Lincoln Prototypes, Marks VI, VII and VIII. The September-October issue will feature Custom and Hot Rod Lincolns.”
If anyone would like to contribute to these issues please contact Tim Howley, the Editor, at www.lcoc.org.
The Eastern National Meet will be held July 27 - 30, 2005, nearby Cleveland, and will feature visits to the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum where one of the stainless steel Lincolns is featured:

For information about the Western Meet, in Sacramento, California, September 21 – 25, please see:

There is a modified custom class in LCOC which accommodates cars which have been performance enhanced, or otherwise modified, and which gets a unique plaque specific to the class. At the present time the modified custom class is not eligible for major trophies, however I think that will change in the future as there is more interest in this class. However, per the rules:
“Modified Custom Class vehicles are considered authentic as displayed and will receive a score of ten points (10) in the authenticity section of the National Judging Form.”
I have attended a few of the National Meets and have found them to be great experiences. Please consider joining LCOC.
