Cop pulls the fiance over cuffs her and puts her in the car tells her there is a warrant for her arrest something about unpaid tickets. Cop let's her go says that he is 50 miles out of the jurisdiction and all she ends up with is the cop saying something about her insurance. Is there something weird going on? Wouldn't they have arrested her right then and there, what could be going on?

I hope she got all of his critical information, because that does sound pretty sketchy. She should contact that law enforcement office and get more information.

Since you've put this out on the internet, you're soliciting uniformed responses- like mine.

What is it that you are suspicious of?
Does your wife-to-be have a number of outstanding tickets? Can you pay them off before inquiring deeper?

Went to the secrtary of state today got a copy her driving record every thing is clear. So im thinking hewas an enthusiastic rookie. We are thinking about talking to a lawyer.

Perhaps it was a case of mistaken identity? Not the first time a dispatcher screws up.

Now, why the cop was 50 miles out of his jurisdiction...? ~shrug~.

I think there's more to this story that we haven't yet heard.

True dispatchers screw up, and there are people with the same name out there. 50 miles out of his jurisdiction sound more like she was 50 miles outside the extradition range the issuing department set for the warrant. Extradition ranges are, pretty much, followed to a "T".
