well i kind of figured Benzo will be up there with a lot of vechiles. ever since they merged with Chrysler all there cars will go down hill!

i'VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD (oops sorry, caps was on) CR's reliability ratings. According to their rankings, the LS was pretty reliable, yet only earned an 'average' overall.

Mercedes has worse quality than Chrysler/Dodge. THeir problem lies in the proliferation of computers and gadgets. It's a real problem for DC and is hurting Mercedes' sales. The mid-sized Chryslers and Dodges usually do very well in quality, and 300's low ranking is probably due in large part to the people who bought down for it having very high expectations. In other words, the guy who owned a Lexus LS400 and traded in for a Chrysler 300 is going to be more demanding than someone moving up from a Sebring or something.

Somebody made a good point awhile ago when they said that the reliability ratings are usually fairly low for high-end cars since the owners are more likely to take the vehicle to the dealership for the smallest thing.

I kinda believe that point.

Well, there is no question that Lincoln has had it's fair share of problems. However, the majority of the problems are relatively easy repairs. I don't care which car you have they will have problems. IMHO, a dealership experience will sway your decision making when searching for another car.

Steve, I think you may be on to something there with your comment. Something I may overlook will not get overlooked by someone else.

Seems like all of the cars have a decent amount of power, that could have something to do with it.
