Recently I noticed some cracking with the drivers side leather seat. The seat itself has several creases in the leather due to normal usage, however the back-rest portion of the seat has several crack lines (the leather has separated from the backing material).
The dealer had pictures that ford must have distributed to them to determine if this is normal wear or a defect. As I expected the creases on the seat are normal, they admit that the cracking on the back rest is a defect. They are in the process of ordering the part and will replace it under warrenty at no cost to me.
