i had a aux coolant pump short out, causing the number 1 fuse to blow. I disconnected the plug at the pump and ordered a new pump from maxx at chapman ford. My question is: can i continue to drive the car without any problem? I dont need heat but i do need a/c and when the fuse blew it caused full heat to come from the vents.

I would not drive it until you replace the pump just my opinion.

It's only for the heater circuit. The normal water pump is what keeps the coolant flow through the block and radiator. It should not be an issue but the best way to test would be to take it on a trip around the block about as far as you are going to drive with it on a daily one way basis.

My mistake I did not know it was only for the heater circuit ;)

Yes, you are okay to leave it disconnected till you get the new one.
