LED Interior Lights Pic Thread

You guys, who have converted your interior and instrument cluster lights to LED's, please post some pics of what your instrument cluster, and interior looks like when lit, with a description of what type of LED bulbs you used. and what website you got them from.

ie: wide angle...single bulb...multi bulb led's, white or blue or soft white.

Im trying to decide which I like best, and could use some ideas. Thanks!

Don't have any installed pics, but I have attached a pic of some of the different LED bulbs I've tried. They're all T10 (fits 194/168 bulb sockets) eBay China specials.

From left to right:
Non-SMD LED - these suck, and are useless unless you need about 1 candlepower of light. They're also narrow angle, providing more of a spot than a flood of light.
Large SMD - All these SMDs are wide angle and thus good replacements for incandescents. This particular large SMD puts out about as much light as the next 4 SMD.
4 SMD - These are about $1/ea shipped, and are a bit brighter than your average incandescent.
15 SMD - Very bright, good for map lights.
13 SMD Cylindrical - The brightest I've tried yet, as you would expect, these throw a bit more light around the side of the bulb than the end. They get a bit too hot for continuous duty IMO.

As far as color, sometimes you can specify what shade of white you want, sometimes not. Most regular white LEDs do have a tiny bit of a blueish tint to them, sorta like a 5000-6000k HID.

On my 97 which has the dome lights that slowly fade out, do you know if the LEDs will fade out smoothly, or turn off once the voltage drops below a certain level?

They will not fade out smoothly.

I have full LED, the only bulbs inside that aren't are the ones in the vanity mirror, my theatre lights work perfectly, nice smooth fade out.

Was going to get pics last night but had too much work to do, once I get a bay open I'll pull it in my shop and get some pics

They will not fade out smoothly.

They fade smoothly on my wife's '97 LSC. Just like they're supposed to.

yes, previous owner installed the lights, used foil on the doors bulbs for better connection
