LED rear strip light replacement

Id like to try to do a direct swap with the factory bulbs, just to see if it would look any good.

The rear strip lights, i could only find ones for the 6 inner lights, but no 2 stage leds for the turn signals. They should be here in a few days...$21 aint bad for an experiment. (WLED-x5)

If I remember correctly, you want the 3157 bulbs for the brake/turn signal bulbs....you can either go with white, or red, and you will need the appropriate flasher relay as well.......hope that helps.

Im gonna try with what i just ordered. They should be direct replacement. Bulb # 168. Sylvenia says the lights in the strip are #168, so we will see. But yeah, i figgured id need a relay for the turn signals. I just wanna see if it looks any good first. If it does, ill plop down some more for the relay and the other 2

Also, do i need a fork tool to get the fasteners on the carpeting on the trunk lid off, so i can get to the lights?

I threw in some red LED's for the turns and brakes. They are pretty damn bright at night. Give off a nice glow.
