Happy Calabrio?:D

Now were gonna have to wait another year for a good picture!

the cool thing about LED taillights is that they light up faster than bulbs, and that speed translates into useable stopping distance for the driver behind you. where did you get these MrWilson?

I use LEDs as well. The really great thing about them is that they light up in sync with the neon, and the LED mirror signals. Big improvement for a Gen 2. I will take videos when I return home so you all can see.

i want to get some white leds for the front cornering lamps, i think that would be good.

You can buy replacement LED's at any auto parts stare like auto zone. I used them in my bronco II like 4 years ago. The same little lights like those. The only thing is that they focus the light more outward than all around.

i bought some on ebay that have 24 leds, and guess what.they arent even bright enough to use as cornering lamps.they shoot a small bright light out in a tight focused beam, they dont reflect off the parabola well.
if you find ones that do let me know

LEDs do not do well for high illumination, only indicators.

You can put them in your turn signals or brake lights, and they will be brighter than stock, but they do not work well as headlights, backup lights, or cornering lights. For that, standard halogen is still the best.

I'm going to need proof to back up this one. My halogen cornering lights practically blind people when changing lanes. Even the refractor style LEDs I have seen cannot match the halogen cornering lights.

Perhaps a comparison is in order? If you're not up to it, I will perform it when I get back in town.
