So I've been modding here and there since I've had the car (4 years) but here is what I've done/plan to do over summer vacation. Some is more "maintenance" than mods, but you get the point.

1. Plasti dip the rims. This was a tough decision for me since they were/are chrome Jaguar wheels and I didn't hate chrome (unlike some of you) so I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I think it looks decent and it's nice for a change. I also thoroughly cleaned the brakes and wheel wells.

2. On it's way to me is a LSE bumper for the front end conversion which I plan to paint it myself (I've done this in the past and have an old thread about it somewhere). I plan to do the lower grill in black plasti dip to keep the "black theme" throughout the car.

3. I got my 3m headlight restoration kit and plan to do those when I do the bumper. As with the bumper, I've done this in the past and have an old thread about it somewhere. I'm thinking of putting a coat of clear plasti dip over the lights and the bumper (kinda like a clear bra). I've tried a few different things but with all my highway driving, I still have tons of rock chips.

4. New windshield installed. My old windshield had a crack (truck kicked up a rock). Looks good and doesn't have a million little pits :)

5. I just received my new porter cable orbital polisher in the mail as well as some polishing/finishing pads. I also ordered some new microfiber towels, meguiar's compound and their new wax, other detailing stuff so after the bumper is finished, I'll be detailing the entire exterior.

6. Today I spent about 5 hours detailing the interior including using a smaller orbital buffer and a microfiber pad on the leather seats. They were a lot dirtier than I though.

Here's a teaser pic...btw, the car is absolutely filthy in this pic other than the wheels :) Sorry for the crappy quality.

Thoughts on doing the rear chrome surround in black plast dip or even the exhaust tips in black? Does plasti dip stand up to heat?

I am not sure of his plans but Alax will be losing the functionality of his fog lights(I believe) with the addition of his turbo. May want to reach out to him and see if they are for sale.

sold those a while ago, along with my intake. Soon my calipers will go up for sale.

That looks good. Imo, if you black out the surround, tint the tails (red part). The black tips would look good on there.

Gloss black vinyl + roof = inexpensive freshness!!!
