So Ive had the itch for a new project. Wife wants a new car and the LS is just too much to let go right now. So If I can get a decent interest rate come Thursday or Friday, I may be shopping. Looking at the lexus gs 300, es 300, Infiniti g35, nissan maxima and altima, cadillac cts, and the mazda 6. Looking for all opinions, but if you can give me some first hand input on any of the cars, that is what I am looking for.

The MazdaSpeed 6 is a helluva value. AWD, 274 hp. about $24k

Those mazdaspeed 6's are quick as hell. raced one the other day. didn't know it was AWD or turbo

Might catch alot of hell, but ended up getting the wife a 2007 Ford Fusion. Pick it up tomorrow. Its like a miniature LS but hopefully without the problems.

The Fusions are really starting to appeal to me. Judging by it, it seems like people need to take notice, Ford might be building a good product. Good luck with it. The six speed model is pretty appealing to me...

The speed-6 is still pretty cool though. Especially by next fall when they'll be damn near giving them away to clear the way for the redesign.

We had to wait 3 days to get our car delivered, so they let us drive a Sel v6 model. That thing was smooth and quick, Has just about everything the ls has. they also have an awd. I would like to test drive one. I am really impressed with this car. 31 mpg, has the i4, but still gets up and goes, very comfortable, onboard status display like the LS. Free sirius radio for 6 months, premium sound system, More interior and trunk room than the LS. Its kind of like a womans LS. I plan on adding the spoiler and later on the body kit. Right now the body kit is just too expensive since it is a newer car.
