OK, I am going to change my driver's side UCA/balljoint soon. I have done the passenger side already...What is the easiest way to replace the driver's side?
Thanks.

You can try going after the nut on the firewall side by using a ratchet and swivel through a near-by hole in the wheel well, but I couldn't do it that way.

I had to remove the brake booster to get enough room to turn my wrench.

To remove the brake booster, I had to unbolt the master cylinder, and remove the wiper motor assembly and cowl, as well as (from under the dash) unbolt it from the firewall and unclip it from the pedal . It was complicated, but at least I know I can change out my brake booster myself if it ever fails.:D

It took me half a day. I could do it in a couple of hours now.

here is the easiest way w/ out taking off the brake booster. go get a 18mm ratchet wrench. those tools work wonder.

Is there enough room to reach in there and get at it. I can see the front side and it looks pretty easy to get at.

Yea no way you should have to take off the brake booster to do this.MY buddy did mine in under 2 hours.

I should stick my hand in there see how much room there is....I can't really see in that area. I wish I had done this when I changed the strut.
