I promise to nicer if you promise to be smarter.
I decided to go with regular Halogen light bulbs for auxiliary lights. HID's are the bomb, but damn it, 2-3 seconds warm-up time is a little too much for my taste.

Yes, I know, I just saw it as I was posting the picture. The passenger Halo is kaput.

Lows, Highs, Fogs, Driving and blinding lights.

Pictures don't do the brightness justice. But with 900Watts worth of lights, they are pretty bright in real life. I ordered 110 Watt light bulbs for the lower 4 lights (fog and driving). When those come in, we'll see how bright they'll get.

And yes, I'm already working on 6 aircraft landing lights on top of the cab on a rollbar.

sweet truck mr. frogman:D it makes me miss my 02 f350 crew cab diesel dually with my 4" lift and 22.5 alcoa semi wheels on it:( oh well,I can always get another one:)

Nice truck man!

Thanks. It's my pulling mule.

22.5" wheels on an F250? With 3.73's, I hope you weren't towing anything heavy...

Damn Frog, hunting vampires?

Been there, done that. ;)

Well...

I'm thinking HID lights for the three 6" lights, now. I'll wait and see how the 6 Aircraft landing lights work out first, though.

I took these shots on "my" dirt road, on the way home. I still need to aim the lower driving lights, me thinks. They're pulling to the right... I just realized something... my lights are Republicans!

ALL lights running. I can see coyotes and jackrabbits from a good distance now. And due to light bleed over, the extra light helps my NV Rifle scope out so much, I don't even have to activate the long range illuminator on it for long distances.

oh, I got ya now. It probably worked out to be 3:73's after the big wheels went on. The truck was for more show than anything. I never used it for what it was meant for but it probably would have still pulled good. I do miss that truck...and the 03 cobra that I sold along with it:(

This has been bugging me all day, so I found some math on the Interwebz...

Stock tires on the 350's are 235/85/16's. I compared that to a 295/75/22 (couldn't find a 22.5), but with 4.10's, your effective rear end ratio was somewhere around 3.30's. This is based on 22" wheels.

I bet you were getting some nice fuel economy numbers, eh?

i remember that the tires were damn near 36 inches tall. 3:30's......no wonder I would rev 2000 rpms at 90+ mph lol!!!

So, it is important to be seen from Space? Are you looking to add aliens to your midget porn films Frog?

Like the lights - having driven late at night through Wyoming's back roads - there is a need for candle power.
