Linclon LS V12 Found!

The V12 and 4WD was a very rare option package, and you couldn't get one without the other.

How rare? I think that only 0.0 were ever made.

All wheels are important for driving, so all wheels drive. It doesn't specify it has 12 engine cylinders. There are 6 engine cylinders, 1 master cylinder, 4 wheels doubled as cylinders, and a large cylindrical can of Steel Reserve

I think that everyone that reads this posting should contact the seller asking for pictures of the V12 and 4WD. I bet the advertiser will correct the as in short order.

holy sh!t, completely missed the price!!!

for that kind of cash, it really must have a V12 engine!

Hmmm... From what I can tell a BMW V12 is about as compact as our V8s. I can't find AJ dimensions, but comparing M70 V12 dimensions to dimensions of the Ford 5.0 pushrod and 4.6L Modular, the V12 is the same length and 4" and 10" narrower, respectively. What could go wrong besides two wiring nightmares?

Actually, I found out that he owes more on it than it is worth.

oh lord... and he really thinks hes going to get over on somebody by enough to cover it huh?

time to just chuck that one up as a loss and move on...

He didn't specifically say what he owed but he has lowered the price - by all of $100 in his newest listing. He indicated he had some 'wiggle room', but not much. My guess is he still owes in the neighborhood of at least $7000. He has corrected the ad - it's no longer an AWD V12 Lincoln LS.

And since I posted that - it's dropped another $1400.

since when the fukc does 95,000 equal a low mile car?

It's low for being a 14 year old vehicle. If following the general rule of thumb with miles driven in a year of 15,000, there should be 210,000 miles on his car. My car is a 2000 and has 81K and should, by using this assumption, be at 225,000. So yeah, he at least has that going for him.

but there is a huge difference between the car being a low mile car, and the car having low miles for its age...

he just said it is "good condition and low miles."

just saying, nobody calls a car with just under 100k on the clock as having low miles.

well at a little over 155k, I guess mine is near low miles!

Mathematically, I guess I'm down 60k as well.

There's some kind of perception within the searching-for-a-used-Gen-1-LS and the just-overpaid-for-a-gen-1 crowds that thinks anything under 200,000 miles is low. I guess if you're shopping between an 80,000 mile Accord and a 150,000 mile luxury sport sedan, the standards are raised.
