Lincoln Continental concept

That car is very nice... only 3 comments though. I love the doors, the a$$ is too boxy, and the front looks a bit like the new 300c. Overall I agree they should have made this a production car.

Fix the boxyness and the stupid front and dumb mustang rear and it would maybe be a nice car.

You got that backwards. The 300 is a rip-off of that Conti concept--the Conti was first, even ignoring the fact that it's derived from the Conti of the '60s.

This car should definitely be produced. Because of the 300's unique body style their aren't too many other cars that really compete with it. I think this car would be a hit, especially with the suicide doors. I mean, how long has it been since someone released a production vehicle with suicide doors? Talk about promotion and publicity! All they would need is a nice 350+ HP engine and you've got the car of the year. A lot of you may disagree with the body style...but I think that with the success of the 300 the public is ready for another car like that.

Its better than the new stylings of the Lincoln Zephy, MKX or even the MKS (which I think looks great) but really look like how many other cars/suv's? Acura's? Toyota's? Lexus's? Nissan's?

I mean...don't get me wrong I love the styling of the MKS but at least that concept car is somewhat unique...

Lincoln needs to follow the trend and revert back to the oldschool styling like EVERY other American car company is doing. Dodge Charger, Ford Mustand and GT500, Chevy Camaro...etc. It's the trend, you can't live in the "towncar" world forever.

More importantly they need to beat Cadillac to the punch before they start reverting to the promotion of "oldschool" styes. I think this transition is inevitable. It won't last forever, but I think this is a phase American car makers are going through and will continue to dabble in for a little while at least.
