This is my first Thread, so bear with me if this already has a thread that answers the question. I own a 2001 Lincoln Ls with nopw about 195000 miles. I have been through the issues; replaced 9 coils before finding the solution to stop them failing. Fixed the overheating problem. The latest problem involves the idle. I recently had the idle control valve replaced because the car wouldn't stay running. With the new valve the engine isn't stalling anymore. The issue now is that after accelerating, the car engine doesn't drop rpms when I take my foot of the accelerator. The engine stays at 1500 RPMs and 30 mph. It appears the issue occurs when the car is in gear that the RPMs stay up there. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made to the idle control valve or computer to stop this from happening? Thanks. Jrbruin1
