Just a thread for someone who might run into the same problem I came against when replacing lower ball joints...I removed the hub assemblies which were galvanized onto the knuckle/spindle and in doing either the hub assembly removal or pressing in new lower ball joints my knuckle/spindle warped which caused Caliper bracket to rub on rotor when I reassembled everything...I suggest buying new aluminum knuckles/ Spindles when hubs and lower ball joints need replacing ...just put new knuckles/ spindles on tonight and no rubbing on Caliper bracket everything A OK...remember this is only one conclusion to why a Caliper bracket might be rubbing on rotor...there are a few other scenarios that could cause such rubbing....all my best my LS brothers

If only someone had warned about this every now and then...

Edit: Couldn't resist (I did try though)

Yes I should’ve heeded your advice Joegr ...you were absolutely right and I do remember you saying that this could happen. I was trying to save a buck like always and couldn’t pass up the deal I got on those Moog ball joints...In the end though it cost me more money trying to save money...lesson learned the hard way
