Well you see, the stock thx bass is more than enough for me. Maybe later on when I have enough money to upgrade all the speakers, then I'll get more serious about a sub enclosure and some good subs taking up my space.
 
Did you ever actually mount this sub box? I ask because I'd want to know how hard it is to take out to access the spare tire because it would suck to not be able to change a tire because of my subs. I'd also only be interested if I could pick it up locally if I make it down between the 8th-11th of June when my brother would be coming home from Afghanistan.
 
I mounted it.You dont need to take it out to acces the spare tire, it sits far back enough to lift up the cover.
 
I have the same enclosure (except mine has 10's in it), and I have no problem accessing the spare tire/battery area. The sub enclosure pretty much ends up right before the bend of the access panel. Works out nice.
 
I made a box for 2 12s and I had to make a custom trunk floor (slightly relocated hinge) to access the spare... Trust me that is one measurement that you might not think about and either get lucky or not buying a premade box.....
