Lincoln LS V6 - is this a coil issue?

Trans fluid so low it can't charge the torque converter or pump? Shift linkage disconnected? Both will do it. Need more info....
don-ohio :)^)

Search the threads, there was a guy recently (last 3 or so months) described the exact same problem. I talked to him about tranny, Joe about the PCM. I think I remember he attacked the PCM and was right. Keep in mind it could be either.

Edit:

Notice you list west coast. If you are around Burbank, I have the right guy for tranny issue. Honest and knowledgeable, will fix issue for fair price, not just tell you to replace/rebuild.

Not near Burbank, will try the search, thanks.

I had this problem earlier this summer, cant remember if i made a post about it.
but my ls is a v8, at the time, right at 100k miles i think.

car crunk up fine, then when i put it in drive it went no where just revved up.
I forgot how i figured the trick to get it moving, but i think it had something to do with turning the car off an on and trying again later. I remember the letter E showed up in the mileage box as well. (that e error is a known issue)

so fast forward a month later and it stopped out of nowhere. Never did it since.
I was doing research that it was the tranny solenoid pack. but since it hasnt done it again, aint no telling what caused it.

Some more info would help others to be able to help diagnose the issue.

When you say it won't move, does it go into gear but wont drive, does it rev at all, is it acting as if its still in Park when its in gear?

My 03 would barely move when I picked it up, it had clogged cats, so the engine couldn't release the exhaust air. Idled decently, but giving it gas did nothing.
