Lincoln LS Window Problem

I installed a new regulator on the driver side window but the glass keeps coming out of the clips that hold it to the track.. I'm afraid to torque them down too tight. Is there any torque specs for doin this?

the bolt and the inner front door support bracket are 9ft-lb if those are the bolts you are talking about.

are they bolts or clips, when I replace a window regulator at my shop if the glass attaches to the regulator with bolts I tighten them with my 3/8s impact lightly with good results, when I want to tighten something that I know could break I grab the ratchet by the head so I limit the amount of force being applied
