Lincoln Mark VIII OCTASTARS on eBay

I still don't understand the appeal? Is it just do to their rareness?
 
i dont think they are hot at all. They remind me of grandma pimpin it up.
 
I Have A Complete Set Of Chrome 10 Spokes With Brand New Tires. $600.00 And You Figure Out The Shipping. I'm In Las Vegas. 89110 The tires have less than 500 miles on them.

I have American Racing wheels on there now. I do like them, but the 10 spokes are my favorite.
Turbo..I wish I had the $$$$, those are good looking wheels.
I need to balance my wheels, the $#@% stick on weights fell off.

I keep thinking about putting the stock 10 spokes back on, I'm really not sure which ones I like better. I have these on now. I like em but the stocks look good too. Not enough room for both though!!!

Yeah, my stick on weights have fallen off before too. Make sure they clean the wheel good before they stick em on. You can also put a piece of duct tape over them so they wont fall off. As far as the octastars... I like the 10 spokes a little better myself.
 
When I saw the 10 spoke I had to get a set.... Guess I just got lucky... Thanks again Debi...

Debi too her set off her wrecked 96 and traded me for my snow flakes to use as winter rims. All I had to pay was shipping. Love the way they look on a Mark VIII.

Granted there are some nice looking rims out there but I don't that that kind of cash laying around. I'd rather stick the cash into mods. I don't look at rims as mods. Tires yes rims no..

Plus 16" is big enough for me. I hate the wagon wheel look of the larger 19+ rims. Too much bling for me. As for the Octastar Not for me...

I agree 100% i just had to replace my chrome 10 spokes and almost bought a set of Octastars, as replacements, until I saw my color (toreador Red) Mark on eBay with Octastars and didn't care at all for the look.

On the other hand there is a local Black on Black 97 base with Octastars that looks great.

I guess it depends on the Mark.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...:D
 
I think the octastars look better on a gen 2. Just my 2 cents. You guys are correct about the black cars with em though, looks more classy I guess.
