Hello to all the Lincoln LS fans out there. My 2002 LS was rear ended so I'm trying to remove the gas door cover so I can bring to paint store for color-matching. Any advice/help on taking off the gas door cover? Thanks

As I recall, once open, there are two bolts.
Best to take a few pictures first, as its 'spring' assembly will beed to go back correctly.
Better to just use the PAINT CODE off the sticker at the driver's door.
All paints can be matched using the OEM color code.

Thanks for the reply. The car has had 1 respray that isn't a close enough match to use paint code I founf that out when I order some touch up long ago. If I can't figure it out, I will post picts this weekend.As I recall, once open, there are two bolts.
