LincolnvsCadillac? who do you think?

Even though I own a lincoln I would have to say cadillac's are better but i dont have as much knowledge about lincolns as I do about caddys. What do you guys think about it? and is the northstar v8 better or faster then the lincolns v8?

According to Consumer Reports, the Caddies have horrible reliability, at least the Lincolns with the exception of the Navigator, fair from average (early LS's) to good (Town Cars). I'd say Lincoln, one of the few (or only?) domestic brand to make it to CR's reliable list, has Caddy beat in that area.

for me its about being different if you ask any random person on the street if they rather own a lincoln or a cadillac they will probably say cadillac because it has a reputation of being a "pimp" car or whatever and famous people love caddys... i like to do the opposite of what everyone else does so id choose lincoln anyday

I think Lincoln gives you style, and substance, and won't (on average) break your bank repairing it, especially if you buy an '02, 04, or 05 LS. (but butter an '04, because you still get 3 years/36K miles of complimentary service checkups). They reduced the complimentary servicing to 1 year/12K for all cars sold after 1/1/05.
