Andy, if you reschedule and plead not guilty and he isn't available, they will just reschedule you around is free dates.

the records holder doesnt check to see if his schedule matches the date i will appear. Iv gotten out of another ticket this way. Im also gonna do a public records request on a bunch of certifications he has, usuially theres one thats not up to date, which lets me off the hook entirely also.

How fast were you going Andy. :D

fast enough apparently

i also got pulled over 3 more times after that on the way home, all for tail lights out, but...it was the stupid lights on the trunklid, so i told each one...they arent blinkers, or break lights. The only ones you can give me a ticket for would be the same ones the inspection station would fail me for....in so many words.

Unless the laws have changed, thst type of ticket is legit. NJ inspection is a tough one. Basically, all required lights must work, to pass inspection. But, if there are additional lights on the car, they must work also. That was a problem many years back when high mount stoplights were first introduced. Many folks installed aftermarket lights on thier cars, the bulbs burned out, and they didn't replace them. They then failed inspection, or got tickets, and tried to fight, that since the car is not required to have the light there, that they shouldn't have it pass. They were wrong, and NJ was right.

i didnt get tickets for the lights, just speeding. the lights were just agrivating, cuz if i had just unplugged all the lights in the trunk lid, no one would have been the wiser. OH, my beautiful LEDs :(
