Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. im sure if you venture out to lkq often you probably already know this. but if ya dont. well now ya do.

friday saturday and sunday during memoridal day weekend LKQ is doing 50% off all parts you pull. this is in florida at all LKQ locations.

I wondering if this going on at other states LKQ's? Only thing though how you know your getting 50% off. They just tell you price marked up 50% and say heres your 50% discount.

The one that i goto has price sheets on the wall. so if you have been there a few times then you have an idea of what some of the prices are. personally im pissed off i forgot about this. they do it every memorial day. its a good time to go grab a trans for rebuild or grab an engine for rebuild. or just grab a lot of random stuff.
 
LOL im heading to clearwater,st pete,and tampa all 3 on saturday!
 
Trippen. Have you seen any Marks at the LKQ in Clearwater lately? I haven't been there in about 6 months. I could certainly use a few things for the interior right now...
 
i'm gonna take a trip also, i have heard the damn radio add about 60 times this week, so to get it out of my head now i have to go! i will hit clearwater and maybe tampa tomorrow morning.
 
It is not on friday folks, it is august 31st thru sept 2nd. I have checked the tampa, st pete, clearwater and even the bradenton yards in the past 2 weeks and have not found even one Mark VIII of any year :( Has anyone else had better luck??

You have to get a lil creative with the specific parts you enter in the search but it's how I find out what Lincolns are in what yard around me. www.car-part.com

its probably true. any time i do find a mark out there its pretty much worked over. typically theres a gen 1 somewhere in the clearwater lot but the st pete lot hardly ever gets em it seams like. kinda odd seeing this thread pop back up.
 
I was fortunate to have been able to purchase the complete drivers side off of 1997 at Bradenton LKQfor my 97 that was hit while parked (Boxtruck). We should be done paint included by the end of October (Opal Opalescent). That was the last mark viii that i have seen there.

I was just at the Bradenton LKQ on the way home from work. No marks in sight.
